Privacy-first · Built for software agencies

Stop logging. Start building.

Automated timesheets for software agencies.

Logless reconstructs a useful draft of your team's working week from the development activity they already generate — reducing timesheet administration while helping agencies capture billable work that might otherwise go unlogged.

Timesheets shouldn't cost billable hours

The problem isn't that developers don't work. It's that some of the work never makes it into the timesheet — a PR review here, a client call there, small pieces of work between the larger tasks. Individually forgettable. Collectively, real lost revenue.

How it works

Development activity in, private processing, a useful timesheet out — Logless never makes a final decision without you.

1

Connect your work tools

Connect GitHub in a couple of clicks. Logless reads commit, pull request and issue metadata — never file contents or diffs.

2

Privacy processing, then reconstruction

Repository identifiers are stripped early. What's left is grouped into sensible work blocks by date and project — a starting point, never a claim of exact hours.

3

Review and approve

Edit anything, add what Logless missed with one click, then approve. Managers see the approved result — nothing else.

Privacy-first by design

No surveillance. Just work data.

Logless understands the work — not the code. The system is built around lightweight development activity and data minimisation: repository names and identifiers are never a normal part of what you or your manager see.

Revenue recovery

Logless finds billable work that would otherwise go unlogged.

Every approved timesheet shows recovered hours — detected work developers would likely have forgotten to log — with an estimated revenue figure based on your billing rates. Always labelled as an estimate, never a guarantee.

Frequently asked questions

Is this employee monitoring?+

No. Logless doesn't watch what you do — it reads commit, pull request and issue metadata from tools you connect, then drafts a timesheet you review and correct. It understands the work, not the code, and repository names never appear in a normal timesheet view.

What data does Logless actually read?+

Activity timestamps, activity type (commit, pull request, review, issue), and high-level counts — never file contents, source code, or diffs.

What if Logless gets something wrong?+

Every draft is fully editable. Change the hours, rewrite the description, move it to a different project, or delete it — nothing is final until you approve it. GitHub can't see meetings, planning, or client calls either, so there's always a quick way to add what it missed.

Do you support tools other than GitHub?+

GitHub is the focus for the current release, since it's where most billable engineering work already leaves a trail. Jira, Linear, GitLab and others are on the roadmap, not built yet.

Can managers see everything I do?+

No. Managers see your approved timesheets and totals — not your raw detected activity feed, and not which repositories you worked in.

Is this end-to-end encrypted or Zero Data Retention?+

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and credentials are encrypted at rest. We won't claim end-to-end encryption or Zero Data Retention unless the underlying infrastructure genuinely provides it — see our privacy approach for the specifics.
